Hello room finder! Welcome to Huize Deur, a 3-room student apartment above Japanese restaurant Tao', a stone's throw from the center. If you study at Saxion you can get there within 5 minutes by bike, UTwente can be reached within 15 minutes and the walking distance to Enschede station is only 3 minutes (we speak from extensive experience). With a bike shed around the corner, you can go down an alley to the stairs leading to the rooftop; Then you walk across the roof terrace to the apartment. The entrance hall is on the west side of the house, as well as the kitchen and living room on the left. At the end of the hall, on the east side, is the room that becomes available. During the day we do our own things (study, work), but in the evening we often get together for dinner and usually stick around for a chat and each other's company (with or without a drink!). Feel free to do your own thing, as we have our own hobbies and activities throughout the week. We have a good division of tasks by means of a cleaning schedule (kitchen, bathroom and general (vacuuming, taking away dirt), so we are looking for a roommate who feels comfortable with this. Friends occasionally come over for cooking evenings or to play (board) games. Finally, we are also a house where everyone has their own place and tranquility, so that they can also study or just retreat for a while. And now a round of introductions! We Samu (FI, 22), Merlin (NL, 19) and Arthur (NL, 26). Samu is studying Business Information (BA) Technology, Merlijn is studying Technical Medicine (BA) and Arthur is about to graduate in European Studies and Comparative Public Governance (MA) in addition to his work in Zwolle. Samu is leaving us because he is going to live with his girlfriend, which means that his room will be available from May 1, 25. The room that becomes available is at the front of the house and is 13 m2. A large window, including a large ventilation grille, is on the wide side with the heating radiator underneath. The room comes with a fabric floor and two blinds: rails are provided for blackout curtains. There are also plenty of power outlets and wired internet in the room. Furthermore, we have a shared living room and kitchen with hotplates and oven, fridge and microwave as well as a (very spacious!) bathroom with shower, washing machine, sink and toilet.
