1 room apartment of 180m² in Amsterdam

Our home is newly decorated with a mix of modern and elegant wooden furniture, a private backyard garden, 3 bedrooms, 1.5 baths, and a full fledged office. (Photos include a few Christmas decorations. Those won't be up when you come, don't worry!) It's on the ground floor, which is very hard to find in the city. Our master bedroom features a comfortable California king bed. Two of our other bedrooms are for our young children - 2.5 years old and 7 months old. There are cribs in both, as can be seen in the photos. Our fourth bedroom is both a large home office and has 2 guest single beds in it. It's typical Amsterdam style, with beautiful wooden floors. It's very spacious for a home in the city, which we love, with lots of natural light and big windows. In our kitchen we have a top-quality water filter from AquaTru, a barista coffee machine from Sage, and a KitchenAid mixer. Oh, and did we mention we have an infrared sauna?! We have a private outdoor garden with a fish pond. Our garden is also nicely lit at night. Our cellar holds our wine collection and is a convenient place to store luggage. Directly out our front door are two parks, one with a basketball court and another with a children's playground. There are kids playing in both every day. We live in a quiet, beautiful part of the city with lots of parks, shops and schools around. It's extremely walkable. A big plus is that it is near the tourist area (10 min walk), but not on the tourist radar, so it's still 'just locals'. You can find everything you need within 5 minute walking distance - public transport is a 2 minute walk away. Two grocery stores, a cheese shop, a coffee shop, a bakery, multiple restaurants, a wine shop, and a butcher are on the main shopping street two blocks from our place. You can simply walk or bike the entire time you're here, if you'd like. There's no need to drive, although there are plenty of car sharing options parked nearby. Schiphol airport is a 15 minute train ride away. Amsterdam Zuid train station connects you anywhere else you'd like to go in the country - or elsewhere in Western Europe.
