Parking via the licensing system (Center 2). Surprisingly, there is currently only a short waiting period to get a parking permit in this part of Amsterdam. With an overflow permit you can park for as long as you license in another area on the waiting list for a permit in your own area. An overflow permit is a temporary permit and expires automatically as soon as a permit for you in your own permit area becomes available.
